The market and indoor fair is open from 9:30am - 3:30pm, traders may begin to pack up their stalls from 3:00pm.

The market runs along the north side of the High Street (A4251), starting at the cross-road with Upper and Lower Kings Road (A416) with stalls running to St Peters Church.

Our indoor fair is housed within the Civic Centre, opposite the market - look for the signs.

Where can I park?

The pay and display car parks behind Tesco (HP4 3FG), Lower Kings Road multi-storey (HP4 1BP) and St John's Well Lane car park (HP4 1HA), are all a short walk from the market.

There is some free parking on the side streets on a Sunday.

Can I get to the market via public transport?

Berkhamsted train station is a five minute walk from the market, there is a bus service running from Watford to Aylesbury via Tring and Hemel Hempstead which stops outside the market in Berkhamsted.

The market stall holders are all individual businesses with their own methods of how they obtain their stock, whilst we cannot guarantee it, it's possible you might find some dealers who would be interested in seeing your pieces.
